TG Spaces Opens Its Doors in Amsterdam Oost

Welcome to TG Spaces, the new creative venue of Salsa te Gusta and TG Academy at Zeeburgerpad 22 in Amsterdam Oost.

What started as an empty industrial space is slowly transforming into a vibrant hub for salsa classes, studio rentals, wellness activities, creative workshops, and community-driven events in Amsterdam.

The journey has been exciting, exhausting, chaotic, and incredibly rewarding.

While continuing to run Salsa te Gusta’s weekly classes and events, we’ve also been learning how to renovate and build a 400m² venue almost completely ourselves, together with teachers, friends, students, and community members. From painting walls and carrying materials to figuring out lighting, flooring, logistics, and construction planning, this project has truly become a collective effort.

We’re still actively developing parts of the venue, including studio finishing, rental structures, pricing, and booking systems. But instead of waiting for everything to be perfect, we wanted to open the doors and start sharing the space with the community already.

In the coming months, TG Spaces will continue expanding beyond dance, with room for:

Wellness & movement sessions
Workshops & cultural events
Creative collaborations & community gatherings
